Kids enjoy safe mission to Mars at Challenger Learning Center

Posted: Tuesday, March 23, 2004

Mr. Miller's sixth-grade class at Sterling Elementary would like to thank Zada Friedersdoff and Tamra Waer for giving us a great day at the Challenger Center. As flight directors, they do a really good jobs with kids.

We also would like to thank ConocoPhillips for giving us a generous donation and making this great learning experience possible.

We learned how to program robots, and we went on a mission to Mars. We returned back safely and were able to launch our probe into Deimos (a moon on Mars). It was really a great time.

Thank you once again.
