Light of Day ensemble to visit KenaiP>

Light of Day, Western Baptists College's traveling ensemble, will tour parts of Alaska, including Soldotna. The group will perform and minister at the Kenai Grace Brethren on Saturday at 7 p.m. For more information, call Pastor Chris Hays at 283-4379.

'Miracle' discussion planned at SolFirst

Soldotna First Assembly will host the Rev. Rick Cupp and the Kenai Fellowship Singers Sunday at 6 p.m. Cupp will share about his miraculous recovery from an aneurysm that burst at the back of his head. His sermon is entitled "There is a Miracle Underfoot."

The Kenai Fellowship Singers will lead worship in this joint service. SolFirst is located at the corner of Cohoe and Farnsworth off the Kenai Spur Highway behind The Salvation Army store.

Easter cantata choir practice under way

The choir of the United Methodist Church of the New Covenant invites singers to be part of an Easter cantata, "Crown Him King," which will be performed at the church April 23 at 8 a.m. Practices are held at the church on Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. For more information, call Kari Mohn at 283-4258.

Soldotna church plans Easter musical

The Soldotna Church of God will perform the Easter musical, "The Day He Wore My Crown," at the church April 21-23. Performance times have been scheduled so as not to interfere with other church services. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m. For more information, call 262-4729.
