Hospice meeting scheduled

Hospice of the Central Peninsula will meet at 4 p.m. Thursday at South Central Title. For more information, call 262-0453.

Hospital board to meet

Central Peninsula General Hospital Inc. will hold a board of directors meeting at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the Iliamna room at the hospital. The public is welcome to attend. For more information, call 262-8129.

Good Karma Inn to host mixer

The Good Karma Inn will host a grand opening, as well as the March Homer Chamber of Commerce Mixer, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday. Chamber members are invited to rub elbows with neighboring business owners, enjoy the view and have a chance to win a $100 gift certificate to the Homestead Restaurant. A shuttle service to the inn will be provided from the bottom of Cover Avenue, off of Fernwood Drive. Nikiski dancers plan concerts

The Nikiski High School dancers will perform dance concerts Friday and Saturday at the Nikiski High School Auditorium and April 4 and 5 at the Renee C. Henderson Auditorium at Kenai Central High School. Featured guests will include the Kenai Central High School dancers, Peninsula Artists in Motion, Chugiak High School Chaparrals and Master Dance Studio.

Show time is at 7:30 each night. Advance tickets are available for $7 at Alaskan Gift and Gallery in Kenai, Bear Paw Coffee and Deli in Nikiski or River City Books in Soldotna. Tickets will be $10 at the door.

Soccer tryouts slated

The Kenai Peninsula Soccer Club will hold tryouts for its competitive soccer teams Friday and Saturday. Registration forms are available at Red Line Sports, the Soldotna Public Library, Kenai Recreation Center, HiSpeed Gear or online at Registration costs $35. Advisory committee to discuss meeting

The Kenai-Soldotna Fish and Game advisory committee will meet at 6 p.m. April 16 at the Kenai River Center. The agenda will include recent actions taken by the Alaska Board of Fisheries. For more information, call Bob at 283-9447.
