Whittney Nicole Hallmark and Joshua Lafayette Tapley were married Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at Kalifonsky Christian Center. Pastor Steve Toliver officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Douglas and Penny Hallmark. She is a freshman at Kenai Peninsula College at works in the KPC bookstore. She wore a strapless, white satin gown with silver embroidered flowers and carried a red rose cascading bouquet.
The groom is the son of Jim and Chris Tapley. He is a senior at Kenai Peninsula College and works in the Borough Building in Soldotna.
Lacey Hallmark was the maid of honor and Sadie Hallmark, both sisters of the bride, was the bridesmaid. They wore strapless red satin gowns and carried red rose nosegays with babies' breath.
The best man, groomsmen and ushers were Devon Anderson, Sheldon Hallmark, Mark Krueger, Dave Ross and Tom BeDunnah. Mariya Faumui sang "Your Love Is Extravagant," and Mike Audette played the piano.
A reception was held at the Kenai Senior Citizens Center with a three-tiered, white-on-white cake with red roses.
The couple honeymooned at the Alyeska Lodge in Girdwood and will live in Sterling.
