Brittany L. Swanson and Evan R. Guido were married at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003, at the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center. The Rev. Charles Thornton officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Judy Swanson of Soldotna. She works in a doctor's office. She wore a two-piece ivory dress with crystals and brocade accents and carried a stargazer lilly.
The groom is the son of Kevin and Kim Hyde of Port Charolette, Fla. He works for Scottrade. He wore a black tuxedo with a vest and bow tie.
Rica Phillips, the bride's sister, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Stephanie St. Clair, Tamara Passe, the bride's sister, and Kayla Burt, the bride's cousin. They wore two-piece wine-colored tops and skirts with small trains.
The best man was Karlon Kidder. Kyle Johnson, Daniel Rich and Kyle Wood, cousin of the groom, were the groomsmen.
Lexi Schwarts was the flower girl and the ring bearers were Owen Phillips, the bride's nephew and Cameron Terpstra.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center. Another reception was held for family from the East Coast that could not attend the ceremony.
The couple honeymooned in Florida, spending time in Orlando at Universal Studios and Sea World. They live in Anchorage.
