ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Human remains have been found near Wasilla, Alaska State Troopers said Thursday.
Two hitchhikers found the skeletal remains Wednesday in a ditch near Mile 7 of Knik Goose Bay Road, troopers said.
The remains, which appear to be those of a female, were taken to the state medical examiner's office.
Troopers said they hope to get enough information to identify the body.
