Competitors race in Clark Bradford

Jill Garnet, Jim Arndt and Mindee Morning all won their respective races on Sunday in the Clark Bradford sled dog race, a competition run by the Peninsula Sled Dog and Racing Association.

Garnet won the skijor, 4.5-mile race in Soldotna in 18:16, edging out Patty Berkhahn, who crossed in 22:15.

Garnet also captured the four-dog, 4.5-mile race in 14:24, ahead of Arndt (14:27), Kari Rohl (15:28), Mike Moerlein (18:15) and Jon Little (19:34).

Arndt won the eight-dog, 8.5-mile event in 27:29, finishing in front of Brandi Little (33:57) and Garnet (40:09).

Morning claimed the senior sled dog, 4.5-mile trek in 14:36, a time calculated with a dog age handicap. Stephanie Burns finished second in 15:39, followed by Berkhahn in 20:34 and Jim Banks in 21:28.
