JUNEAU (AP) -- Ron Hull has been named to head the state's Employment Security Division.
He succeeds Rebecca Nance Gamez, who was promoted to deputy commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
Hull moves up after serving as the division's deputy director for the past three years.
In that capacity, he supervised the agency's Veterans' Affairs, Unemployment Insurance, Job Training, Employment and Adult Basic Education programs.
Hull will be paid $81,000 a year.
