Kenai Public Health Center is extending walk-in immunization clinic hours Wednesday for children who need to meet the varicella requirement for school. The center will have walk-in immunization clinic at the Kenai Public Health Center from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Central Peninsula Garden Club will meet April 6 at 7 p.m. at the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Building on K-Beach Road. The topic will be "Garden Planning, Yards to Gardens, Control Common Garden Weeds."

The LeeShore Center will hold a "Alaskans Choose Respect" awareness event in support of Governor Parnell's "Alaskans Choose Respect" initiative and statewide efforts to raise awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault from 2 to 4 p.m. March 31. The annual Skyview High School talent show, co-hosted by the school's National Honor Society and State Mock Trial Team and also in conjunction with the Soldotna Community Schools will be held at 6 p.m. April 20 in the Skyview commons.

The Kenai Pool will be offering American Red Cross Swim Lessons, Level 2. This is for children ages 5 and older. It will run from March 29 - April 28 and meet on Mondays and Wednesday from 5:10 p.m. - 5:50 p.m.

The Kenai/Soldotna Fish & Game Advisory Committee will meet at 6:30 pm on Wednesday at the Kenai Peninsula College, Room 115, located at 34820 College Drive to receive a report from the Statewide BOF meeting, and prepare proposals for Cook Inlet.
