The La Leche League of Soldotna and Kenai meets the first Tuesday of the month from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Mindful Therapies Yoga (by Curves at the Soldotna "Y"). The league is a breastfeeding resource group that offers free monthly meetings, mother-to-mother breastfeeding support, telephone assistance and a lending library. Applications for the 84th Annual Mount Marathon Race are due by midnight on March 31. Applications can be completed online at www.seward.com. Application fees are $45 for adults and $25 for junior runners. Veterans and 2010 finishers have priority, with the remaining slots filled through a lottery system. Tickets for the senior connection fundraising dinner are now on sale. The dinner is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. March 31 at the Kenai Senior Center. Tickets are $20 and include dinner. The event is a fundraiser for Kenai's Meals on Wheels program. The evening will also have live music, a split-the-pot raffle, and a pie auction.
