Information on theft of survey equipment sought
Kenai Peninsula Crime Stoppers Inc. is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of subjects responsible for theft.
On March 13, the Kenai Police Department received a report of survey equipment being stolen from the area of Walker Lane near McDonald's. Unknown suspects took a yellow tripod and distance reflector valued at $1,000 while a survey crew was doing measurements.
Anyone with information on this or any other felony crime on the Kenai Peninsula should call Crime Stoppers at 283-TIPS or toll free at (800) 479-HALT.
Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of felony suspects. Crime Stoppers does not use caller ID, and callers do not have to give their names.
