Kindergarten registration is Monday through April 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is for children who will be 5 by Sept. 1 and will begin kindergarten this fall. Birth certificates and immunization records should be brought to registration.
School forensics is today and Thursday. Parents who can help can call Zada Friedersdorff at 262-9006.
Students in grades three to six will take assessment exams Tuesday through April 7. The school goal is to have perfect attendance on test days. Students should get a good night's sleep, eat a nutritious breakfast and arrive at school on time. The school asks parents to avoid scheduling appointments on these dates.
Mrs. Dusek's second-grade and Mrs. Rolph's fourth-grade classes had the most participation during Turn Off Your TV Week and won ice cream sundae parties.
Lunch charges are not allowed. Parents can apply for the school lunch program. Applications are available in the school office.
The Future Problem Solving team of Mariah Henson, Alexis Norris and Brianna Vinzant qualified to participate in the state FPS bowl in April.
