The school's academic policy committee will hold its annual elections in April. Parents of students currently enrolled in the school are eligible for positions on the committee. Interested parents should apply at the school office.
The school's lottery is closed. Results will be posted at the school April 6. Parents may place children on a waiting list by registering them in person at the school Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The students participated in a week of chemistry. Mrs. Sotelo's intermediate class conducted chemical experiments which allowed kindergartners through sixth-graders the opportunity to explore and experiment with four different chemical reactions. The students learned about polymers that they use daily like trash bags, sandwich bags, food wrappers, glues, the soles of shoes and many other items. In addition each student was taught safety precautions when conducting chemical experiments.
Students and parents continued to experiment at home with polymers and several other experiments provided by the school.
