Don’t trash the Kenai

Posted: Friday, March 30, 2007

To the person driving the red Ford Explorer ... on Sunday afternoon at 5 p.m. past Skyview High School, Shame on You! My son and I were following you from Soldotna when we saw something on the road in our lane of traffic just ahead of you.

The gentleman parked on the side of the road was standing and waiting for the road to clear so that he could run out and grab the bag of garbage that had obviously flown out of a pickup or off a trailer. We were absolutely shocked to see you purposely swerve over and hit that bag. Garbage exploded everywhere! The gentleman on the side of the road just threw his hands up in the air because he couldn’t believe it either. Some of us take pride in our state and country and appreciate this great land we live in. Don’t trash it! You should be ashamed of yourself!
