Family film night slated

The First Baptist Church of Nikiski will hold a family film night at 7 p.m. today at the church. The film will be “Facing the Giants.” Free popcorn will be available. For more information, call 776-8679.

Bible study group to meet

Kenai Aglow meets at 7 p.m. Mondays at The Salvation Army Church on Forest Drive in Kenai.

Nikiski Aglow plans activities

Nikiski Aglow, a women’s Bible study group will host the following activities: Beth Moore video Bible study on Daniel at 9:30 a.m. Wednesdays downstairs at the Nikiski North Star United Methodist Church.

Faith walk set to go

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Soldotna will recite the Stations of the Cross at noon April 6 at the church. A faith walk reflecting the Stations of the Cross will begin at 3 p.m. at O’Neil Hall. The walk will continue through different sites in Soldotna. It is open to the public. Walk to the cross scheduled

Soldotna Church of God will hold a free interactive walk to the cross events to illustrate perspectives on Jesus’ road to the cross at 7 p.m. April 6 and April 7 and at 4 p.m. April 8 at the church on the corner of Redoubt and Binkley. For more information, call Missy at 262-4729.

Art exhibit planned

The Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Sterling is planning its fifth annual Stations of the Cross Art Exhibit. Local artisans will portray events of the “Passion of the Christ.” The exhibit will be open to the public daily until April 8, Easter Sunday. Celebration of the resurrection planned

The Apostolic Assembly of Jesus Christ will hold a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus at 7 a.m. April 8 with a “sonrise” service.

At 10:30 a.m. the Sunday school will hold special activities and perform the play “ For the Joy.” Parents may attend. A money hunt will be held after classes and children will receive treats.
