Congratulations to the following students for their participation in the All-Northwest Honor Choir: Elena Bird, Audrey Coon and Lydia Link were chosen to be in the select 110-voice ACDA Women's Honor Choir, and Ryan Dykowitz, Sovala Kisena and Adam Nath were selected to be in the 110-voice ACDA Men's Honor Choir in Boise, Idaho. Kenai Central had never participated in the ACDA Honor Choirs before this year. This event runs every other year on the off-years opposite the Music Educators National Convention Honor Choir (MENC). Kenai Central has sent participants to the MENC Honor Choir on the odd-numbered years since 1971. The students for these events are chosen from Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.
