Chambers set schedules

* The Soldotna Chamber of Commerce meets Tuesday at noon at Froso's. The Chamber of Commerce will present an update on the Visitor Center and upcoming events. Lunch is $13. For more information, call 262-9814.

* The Kenai Chamber of Commerce meets Wednesday at noon at the Merit Inn. A presentation on Kenai's All-American City bid is planned. Lunch is $15. For more information call 283-7989.

Peninsula Realtors hold raffle fundraiser

The Kenai Peninsula Association of Realtors holds its annual Hospice and Habitat for Humanity Raffle Fund-Raiser. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Grand prize is a 2011 Outlander 400 4 Wheeler ATV, first prize is a Tikka 300 Winchester magnum rifle, second prize is a framed print of "The Waterfall," by Ed Tussey, and third prize is a basket from Homer Bear Creek Winery. Builders to hold Parade of Homes

The Kenai Peninsula Builders Association will be holding the Annual Parade of Homes, held in conjunction with the 32nd Annual Home Show, April 30 -- May 1. Entries are now being accepted, and must be submitted prior to the April 1 deadline. For entry rules and requirements or for information, call the KPBA at 283-8071.

Re/Max Realtor earns awards

Peninsula Realtor Glenda Feekin won top honors at a Re/Max awards rally last month. Feekin placed 8th out of the company's 10 top Realtors statewide, 1st place in Top Three Closed Transactions, 1st place in Top Three Residential Associate individuals and the Hall of Fame award for 2010.

'Profit Mastery' 2-day Seminar coming

Learn to keep tax records

Alaska SBDC wants you to be efficient in tracking your records for tax filing purposes. On Tuesday, April 5, from 5 to 8:30 p.m., Beth Meier will provide you with tips on keeping good records, employee information, etc, to meet tax requirements and to stay organized for timely tax reporting. NOMAR of Homer is once again sponsoring the Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival Amateur Photo Contest. Best Of Show photo is awarded $300. Additional cash prizes will be awarded in three categories.
