Tumbling and Movement with Melissa Daugherty, 15-year gymnastics coach, safety certified through the U.S. Gymnastics Federation. Bring five to eight photos from your activities of the last school year and learn to preserve your high school memories by putting together a high school memory album page. Hunter Education with Larry Lewis, Wildlife Technician III, Alaska Department. of Fish and Game. Designed to develop responsible hunters and hunting practices, promote sound wildlife conservation and encourage the public, particularly the youth, to participate in hunting. Hunters born after Jan. 1, 1986, must possess Hunter Education
Certification to legally hunt in units 7, 13, 14, 15 and 20. Certification is recognized in all 50 states.
Class is open to ages 9 through adult, but a parent must accompany students ages 9 to 13. Five nights, Tuesday through Thursday and April 9 and 10, 6 to 9 p.m., Soldotna Middle School library, $10.
Custom Rod Building with George McDowell, Mac's Rod Shop. Novice or experienced rod builders welcome. Rod prices vary from $68 to $210. No halibut rods.
