FAIRBANKS (AP) -- One man was killed and another wounded in a shooting in a local massage parlor over the weekend.
Brad Simanski, 36, died early Saturday at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, according to Alaska State Troopers. Harold Parker, 48, was treated for a gunshot wound to his abdomen and was released, troopers said.
Troopers were called early Saturday morning to the Oriental Massage Parlor on Peger Road on report of a confrontation involving a client. During the call for help, the telephone was disconnected, troopers said. Shortly thereafter, Fairbanks police got another call from the same location reporting a shooting.
Troopers said Monday they had a suspect in the shooting, but had made no arrest.
