Donation helps students soar

Sterling sixth-grade students from Mr. Miller's class want to thank Conoco Phillips for giving us a donation that made it possible to go to the Challenger Center. At Challenger, we did a mission to Mars. We also made robots and learned to program them. That wouldn't have been possible if it hadn't been for ConocoPhillips. The company also helped us pay for a hydroponics unit. This is growing plants without soil just like they do on the International Space Station. So far, we all have flowers on our plants and they're beginning to seed.

If it wasn't for ConocoPhillips, we wouldn't be able to do that either.

We appreciate their help!
