Indiana student seeks information on Alaska, tourism for school project

Posted: Wednesday, April 03, 2002

My class is studying the United States. Each of us choose a state to learn about and I chose Alaska. For our project, we are going to write a report, set up a visitor's center and even design a float for a parade.

Earlier in the year, we learned about our state Indiana. We learned many things that make Indiana special, but I don't know anything about Alaska.

I am hoping your readers will help me out. If possible please send post cards, pictures of places to visit, or anything I could use to display at my visitor's center.

I am really looking forward to learning about Alaska.

If you can help please, send information to Carly Gallmeister, Evansville Day School, 3400 N. Green River Rd., Evansville, IN 47715.
