Anchorage drowning victim identified

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Anchorage police Monday identified the man found drowned in a Midtown creek Friday morning.
He was Douglas Macarthur Davis, 57. Davis was found lying face down in a creek near 19th Avenue and ''C'' Street by a man walking his dog.
Davis had lived at various homeless shelters in Anchorage, police said.
