Racing meeting planned

The Alaska Circle Track Association with the Twin City Raceway will hold a general membership meeting at 7 p.m. today at the Homer Electric Association crew room. For more information, call 776-8925 or 262-1616.

Advisory committee to meet

The Kenai-Soldotna Fish and Game Advisory Committee will meet at 7 p.m. today at the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Building on Kalifornsky Beach Road.

Softball and baseball clinics offered

The Kenai Parks and Recreation Department and the Kenai Little League Association are co-sponsoring a softball and baseball skills clinic for youths ages 7-12 on Saturday. The clinic will be held at 10 a.m. for 7- to 9-year-olds and 1 p.m. for 10- to 12-year-olds.

There is a $3 fee for the clinic, which will be held at the Kenai Recreation Center. For more information, call 283-3855.

Historical Society meeting planned

The Soldotna Historical Society will hold a board of directors meeting Saturday at 10 a.m. at River City Books in Soldotna. The meeting is open to the public.

Meeting place changed for GOP convention

The District 8 Republicans (Soldotna-Seward) will hold a biennial convention Saturday at 9 a.m. at Soldotna Assembly of God, not at the Princess Lodge in Cooper Landing as originally scheduled.
