ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A 22-year-old Anchorage man is accused of sexually abusing a former girlfriend's 11-year-old daughter.
Larry Parker was being held at Cook Inlet Pre-Trial Facility on $20,000 bail. Police have charged him with three counts of first-degree sexual assault and four counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor.
According to a criminal complaint, police received a report last month alleging Parker had molested the girl four times on three separate days. Parker reportedly watched the girl and her siblings when their mother was at work.
The girl said Parker also asked to have sex with her but she refused. Her mother and Parker have since separated.
Parker was arrested last week for forgery and theft on an unrelated case. He has denied molesting the girl.
