ANCHORAGE (AP) -- State Representative Scott Ogan has had a pacemaker implanted in his heart.
The defibrillator-pacemaker device was implanted Thursday and is intended to help monitor and support the regular functions of Ogan's heart.
Ogan, a Republican from Palmer, has been hospitalized since March 16th when he suffered a heart attack at his home.
He remains in fair condition at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage and hopes to be released from the hospital soon, said Dan Saddler, a spokesman for the House Majority.
