Men's community dinner planned todayl

A men's community dinner will be held today at 6:30 p.m. at the North Kenai Baptist Church. The dinner is free and open to all men. For more information, call 252-6058.

Methodist church to have guest ministerl

The Rev. Herb Schaan will be the guest minister at the United Methodist Church of the New Covenant in Kenai at the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. His topic will be "Why is it hard to forget a rainbow?" based on Genesis 9:8-16.

Schaan is a retired Lutheran Missouri Synod minister who has served in Papua-New Guinea.

The church is next to the Boys and Girls Club on the Kenai Spur highway. All services are open to the public.

Clothing ministry closed in April

The New 2 U Clothing Ministry will be closed for the month of April for inventory and change over of seasonal clothing. It will return to its normal schedule May 4.
