SELAWIK (AP) -- The search was continuing Friday for two missing Selawik teens who disappeared Monday night while on a snowmachine trip from Noorvik to Selawik.

Alaska State Troopers said Martha Foster, 16, and Louise Clark, 19, were in Noorvik Monday to watch basketball games. Troopers said they left Noorvik at about 11:30 p.m. in a blizzard.

Alaska State Troopers in Kotzebue were notified at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday that the girls were missing. Search and Rescue crews from Noorvik and Selawik began a search Tuesday night and the Civil Air Patrol began an aerial search Wednesday.

About 150 volunteers from Selawik, Noorvik, Ambler, Buckland, Kiana, Kotzebue and Noatak were searching on the ground and in the air Friday but reported no sign of the girls.
