Monday through Wednesday students in grades four through eight will spend the morning working on standardized tests. The school reminds parents to have their student get a good night's sleep and eat a healthy breakfast

There will be no school Thursday and Friday due to a teachers conference in Eagle River.

The staff would like to thank those who attended the Friends of Grace program Monday. The students shared, in costume, a historical figure they have done research on for the living museum.

Fifth- through eighth-graders wrapped up the bowling unit.

In physical science the fourth- through sixth-graders are studying matter and atoms. The new chapter is about the atom and how different elements are characterized on the periodic table.

In reading, the seventh- and eighth-graders are reading "Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry." It is about a girl from Mississippi in the 1930s, and the trials she faced in a racist area. The fifth- and sixth-graders are reading "Where the Red Fern Grows."
