Soldotna Elementary

The school honored Sheila Barbour this week for her commitment to kindness.

Kindergarten registration continues. Children need to be 5 by Sept. 1. Birth certificates and current immunization records are required. Kindergarten roundup will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday.

The kindergarten music program will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the gym. Erin Southwick will direct. The students have been learning about music from around the world and will share the songs with parents and friends.

A reminder that the last day of assessment tests is Thursday. Parets are asked to have their students get a good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast to help with the testing process.

Preregistration forms are due back at the office. The staff would like to thank those who already have done so.
