PALMER (AP) -- An earthquake that struck near Denali Park Saturday morning was felt in Fairbanks.
The Alaska Tsunami Warning Center said the quake had a preliminary magnitude of 4.4, and was centered 50 miles northwest of Denali Park headquarters.
The quake occurred at 6:07 a.m. It was felt in Fairbanks, which is about 80 miles away. There were no immediate reports of injury or damage.
