Congratulations to the Sterling students who were honored at the awards assembly Friday.
Congratulations also to the students who placed at the forensics meet held at Kenai Central High School in March: Sean Dean, third, humorous prose; Paul Adams, first, interpretive reading; Michael Griffin, second, interpretive reading; Matt Fellman and Erin Twohy, third, multiple poetry; and Nanette Daigle, who tied for second place in storytelling.
Kindergarten registration for next year will be held Monday through April 15. Please bring birth certificate, immunization records and social security number to register your child for 2005. This also is the time to register your student if you will be moving to the Sterling area over the summer months. Early registration helps teachers plan for the coming year to make sure all students feel welcome on that first important day of school in August.
Lifetouch will take pictures of students and staff members April 16. Preschoolers' pictures will be taken after 1 p.m.
