Former Soldotna resident Frank Mynarcik died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, in Santa Clara, Utah. He was 87.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 26 at Spilsbury Mortuary Chapel in St. George, Utah.
Mr. Mynarcik was born in Holland, Texas on March 31, 1919, to John and Francis Mynarcik. He was a World War II veteran and worked in Alaska as a dispatcher in the oil field. After working for 23 years he retired and moved to be near his children. They settled in Oregon and then moved to Santa Clara.
He is survived by wire, Leedy Mynarcik of Idaho Falls, Idaho; son, Hereschell Mynarcik of Idaho Falls; daughter, Jeri (Gene) Fawbush of St. George, Utah; grandsons, Tiger (Jill) Mynarcik of Las Vegas, Brandon (Holly) Mynarcik of Boise, Idaho and Sage Fawbush of Goodyear, Ariz.; two great-granddaughters of Las Vegas; sisters, Dolly Farnsworth of Soldotna and Elise Markham of Miami; brother, Jerry Mynarcik of St. Helene, Mich.; and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were made by Spilsbury Mortuary in St. George.
