Montgomery, Hawley marry in Florida

Mindy Jo Mont-gomery and Craig Phillip Hawley were married March 4, 2000, in a 4 p.m. ceremony at the United Pentecostal Church in Gainesville, Fla. The Rev. Wayne Hinote, of Gainesville, and the Rev. Stuart Churchill, of Kenai, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Frank and Ramona Montgomery of Soldotna. She wore a designer ivory silk and organza gown and carried a bouquet of tulips.

Michelle Burgess, of Anchorage, was the matron of honor, and Monica Montgomery, of Soldotna, was the maid of honor. Both are sisters of the bride. The bridesmaids were Tina Cogom, of Soldotna; Brandi Bussey, of Kenai; and Kristi Taylor, sister of the groom, of Gainesville. The flower girl was Lauren Taylor, niece of the groom, of Gainesville.

The groom is the son of Phillip and Janice Hawley of Gainesville.

Phillip Hawley, father of the groom, was the best man. The groomsmen were Craig Anderson, of Gainesville; Ryan Chavers of Niceville, Fla.; Eric Taylor, brother-in-law of the groom, of Gainesville; Allen Whitten, cousin of the groom, of Columbus, Ga.; and Jim Schmidt of Gainesville. The ring bearer was Skyler Burgess, nephew of the bride, of Anchorage.

The reception was held at the Heritage Club in Gainesville.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Skyview and is employed by the University of Florida in the physical therapy department. She also attends Santa Fe Community College.

The groom graduated from the University of Florida in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in building construction. He is employed by Painter Masonry Inc. as a project manager and estimator.

The Hawleys spent their honeymoon in Keystone, Colo. They live in Gainesville.

Forms for engagements and weddings are available at the Clarion's Kenai and Soldotna offices. Color or black and white pictures also may be submitted. Photos with an address written on the back will be returned.

Weddings must be submitted within six months to be printed.
