ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Alaska State Troopers said Monday they are investigating the death of a 65-year-old woman whose body was found in her home near Sutton.

Troopers found the body of Jane Sasseen after they were called shortly before 10:30 p.m. Sunday by worried relatives who had not seen nor heard from her since April 1. Sasseen had lived in a home near Mile 51 of the Glenn Highway.

Troopers said Sasseen's body would be taken to the state medical examiner for an autopsy. A cause of death is unknown, but the case was being investigated as a homicide, troopers spokesman Greg Wilkinson said.
