JUNEAU (AP) -- Rep. Scott Ogan was released from the hospital Saturday, three weeks after suffering a major heart attack.
The Palmer Republican is now recuperating at his home and hopes to return to the Capitol in early May to resume his legislative duties, said his legislative aide, Linda Hay.
''They (his doctors) have said if everything continues the way they're expecting progress to go, he will be able to,'' Hay said.
Before being released from the hospital, Ogan had a defibrillator-pacemaker device implanted, which is intended to help monitor and support the regular functions of his heart.
