Meeting was healthy success

Central Peninsula Health Centers, Inc. (CPHC) would like to thank all the patients and friends who attended our annual meeting/4th Anniversary Celebration March 28th. We estimate that over 120 people attended. We greatly appreciate all the community support that was shown. We would especially like to thank all the local organizations and businesses that made this such a memorable event.

Soldotna Sports Center was a perfect venue for the event. The Tim Sturm Band provided great music and Jim’s Five Star Catering made the delicious food. Alaska Family Services’ WIC Program, Kenai Public Health Nursing, Central Peninsula General Hospital, and the Alaska Primary Care Association all provided interesting booths for our guests to explore and learn from.

A special thanks to Central Peninsula Counseling Services for contributing a booth and helping us to tell the community about our collaborative new facility, the Peninsula Community Health Center. Talon Air Services, Inc. and Kasilof River Lodge and Cabins provided generous gifts for us to raffle off to attendees. Bonnie Nichols graced us with a beautiful song and Brian Quesnel provided the helium balloons.

Finally we would like to thank all of our Board of Directors and staff members who donated additional raffle prizes and their time to make this event fun and educational for all.
