Reader questions comment

Posted: Tuesday, April 10, 2007

After reading the article “Mountain View principal draws support” (Clarion, April 4), I was stumped by a comment at the end of the article. Dr. Anderson said, “... I’m surprised (Mr. Dawson) hasn’t put a quash on this in the interest of the kids.”

It sounds as if he expects Mr. Dawson to limit free speech and the opinions and feelings of others. I hope I’m mistaken!

Job Fair deemed successful

Wow, what a success this year’s Job Fair was. Thank you, Peninsula Clarion! With your sponsorship and coordination you took the Job Fair to a new level. We set a record this year with over 800 attendees, along with 50 vendors. We want to also thank the following for their contributions in making the Job Fair a tremendous success: Soldotna Chamber of Commerce, KSRM Radio, Durainey Crane Service, Coca Cola and Kaladi Brothers.

We couldn’t have done it without everyone’s help. Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time to make the Job Fair such a roaring success.
