FAIRBANKS (AP) -- A Salcha man has been sentenced to six months in prison after pleading no contest to charges he exposed himself to a 5-year-old girl and also tried to spy on showering teen-age girls via a hidden camera lens two years ago.

Edmond M. Huntley, 51, was charged in February with second-degree indecent exposure and attempted indecent viewing or photography; he pleaded no contest to both charges last month.

Huntley, who had no prior record, was sentenced Monday by District Judge Winston Burbank.

Huntley received a one-year term with nine months suspended for each count, with the sentences consecutive. Huntley was also placed on probation for five years, with required community work service, therapy and no unsupervised contact with minors.
