Obituary
Former Kenai resident Carolyn Nicholas, of Reno, Nev.,died Sunday, April 2, 2006 in Reno. She was 72.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today, April 11, 1006, at the South Reno United Methodist Church in Reno. John Ruby will officiate.
Mrs. Nicholas was born Feb. 1, 1934 in Billings, Mont., to Elwell and Charlotte Slawson. She graduated from Anchorage High School. She married Jess H. Nicholas on Nov. 7, 1952, in Anchorage.
She worked as a Relator in Kenai and attended United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Nicholas was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister.
She is survived by her husband, Jess H. Nicholas ; sons, Tom and Todd Nicholas; daughter, Kit Nicholas; and grandchildren, Jessica Stewart-Kacie, Nicholas-Lucas and Jacob Nicholas.
Arrangements were made by Waltens Funeral Home in Reno.
