Soldotna resident, Julie "Jewels" Wall, 53, died Monday, April 4, 2011, at Providence Hospital, in Anchorage, due to sudden heart complications.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Soldotna Senior Center on Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 4 -- 7 p.m.
Mrs. Wall was born Sept. 5, 1957, in San Bernardino, Calif., to Tom and Donna Jennings. She and her husband moved to Soldotna in September 1996. She was employed at the local Ford dealership from 1996 to current as an accounting specialist. She dedicated herself to doing her job to the best of her ability every day.
Mrs. Wall loved to trout fish, take trips to the mountains and quiet lakes, make jewelry, ride her motorcycle and spend time with her husband and new grand baby. She had a great talent for creating jewelry. She loved to spend time outdoors hearing the sounds of her chimes in the wind and the birds that surrounded her feeders.
The family wrote: "She was a wonderful Christian woman who was loved and respected by all who knew her. We will miss her smile, her laugh, her wit, caring nature and comforting words. Her physical being may be gone but, she will be in our hearts forever. We love you Jewels."
Mrs. Wall is survived by her husband, Charles "Charlie" Wall; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Linda Wall, and their daughter, Amelia, of Anchorage; her parents, Tom and Donna Jennings, of California; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Inga Dean, and their children Noah and Isaac, of Iowa; daughter, Kirsta Armbrust, of California; sister, Peg Jennings-Shaw, of California; and brother, Bill Jennings, of Massachusetts.
