Rebekah Ann Doyle of Missoula, Mont., and Joshua Sanders of Nikiski have announced their plans to marry on Sunday, June 29, 2003, near Bigfork, Mont.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dan and Theresa Doyle of Missoula. She was born and raised in Missoula and graduated from Valley Christian School. She became involved with a nonprofit, interdenominational missionary organization called Youth With a Mission and pursued being part of a dance company. As part of the group she has danced in Asia, Europe, Canada and across the western United States, including a Broadway-bound musical production called "Judah Ben-Hur in Singapore" Currently she is staffing and participating in a nine-month accredited school of dance studies, a branch of the University of the Nations.
The future groom is the son of Steve and Sherry Sanders of Nikiski. He was raised in Nikiski and graduated from Nikiski Middle-Senior High School. Since his junior year, he has worked as a missionary in 21 countries and traveled around the world five times. He enrolled in Youth With a Mission's school of discipleship studies in South Africa aboard the mercy ship Anastasis. The following year he worked on the the west African tour and spent a total of almost two years there. He traveled to Montana and took a Biblical studies class from Youth With a Mission. At the end of that school he met Doyle.
Both Sanders and Doyle have Highland heritage, so the wedding will have a Celtic theme, with an indoor swing dance reception to follow.
