Tustumena Elementary

Alaska State Trooper Vic Aye will conclude D.A.R.E. instruction for the fifth- and sixth-graders this week. A graduation ceremony date will be announced next week. Thanks to Trooper Aye for his services to Tustumena students.

Shelby Dykstra is congratulated for receiving this year's Masonic Outstanding Student award. She is the daughter of Dave and Joni Dykstra.

Next week is School Volunteer Recognition Week throughout America. Parent volunteers will be honored during a school assembly at 2:30 p.m. April 23. The public is invited to attend.

Soldotna Middle School counselor Mary Dougherty will be at the school at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday to meet with sixth-grade students and their parents.
