Super preschoolers last week were Noah and Drake.

Last week ended the unit on bugs. Families are encouraged to keep an eye on the mealworms students took home, as the creatures soon will turn into beetles.

This week, students will learn about the sea by making their own aquariums in a bag to take home, making apple jack lobsters and measuring each other to find out how many preschoolers it takes to equal the size of an orca whale.

Student artists having been painting canvases that will be on display May 7 at the Art Guild. The school also will hold a drawing during the art show for some prizes, including a car battery, tickets to the Alaska SeaLife Center and a possible trip for two to Hawaii.
