A Kenai man rolled over his truck on the Seward Highway Monday morning, killing a friend from Idaho in the crash.
James Lusk, 46, was driving north near Mile 104 of the highway at around 8 a.m. when his Ford F 150 crossed the center lane and rolled several times, according to Alaska State Troopers.
The rollover threw Fred McMinn, 70, from the passenger side of the vehicle. McMinn, of Rexburg, Idaho, was pronounced dead at Providence Hospital in Anchorage at 8:37 a.m.
Lusk was taken to Providence and treated for injuries.
No other vehicles were involved. Troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
