JUNEAU (AP) -- A woman was arrested Thursday night after she requested and failed a breath test for alcohol then drove anyway.
Juneau police say the woman stopped at a private testing facility and asked to take the breath test.
Officer Ramie Vincent said the test indicated the woman had a blood alcohol level over the legal limit but she got into her car and drove away. Testing facility personnel called police.
Officers were looking for the woman when they received a call from a motorist who said he had to take evasive action to avoid a reckless driver.
Police arrested the driver and identified her as Lynda Olsen, 32. She was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, reckless endangerment and driving with a suspended license.
