ANCHORAGE (AP) -- An Anchorage man died early Sunday after he rolled his vehicle while driving northbound on the Seward Highway near the Potter Creek trail head to Chugach State Park.

Michael K. Hill, 44, was pronounced dead at the scene, Anchorage police said. Hill lost control of his Chevy Blazer about 6 a.m., just after passing Mile 115, and slammed into a ditch, investigators said.

His truck struck some rocks, then rolled and came to rest on its side over 200 feet from the road, police said.

Officers are continuing their investigation.
