Clubs name new members
Pioneers of Alaska Igloo No. 33 and Auxiliary No. 16 recently inducted four people at the April 9 meeting. Lorrie Carter and Delora Garcia joined the Auxiliary. The Igloo added Marc Zimmerman and "Andy" Anderson.
Hat contest slated for Seward
A Spring Hat Luncheon will be held May 3 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Resurrection Roadhouse. Each hat will be judged on age of the hat, originality, beauty and various other categories.
A surprise hat will be auctioned off by the Providence Alaska Foundation/ Seward donated by Softly Silk and Jeannette Green.
Tickets for the event are $35 per person and may be reserved by calling Margaret Branson at (907) 224-3212.
