Kenai DAV chapter to hold elections

The Kenai chapter of the Disabled American Veterans will meet 6 p.m. Thursday at the old Napa building on the Kenai Spur Highway in Kenai. Nominations and elections will be held at the meeting. School carnival scheduled

The Aurora Heights' Inlet Faith Preschool sixth grade in Nikiski will hold a Tool Time Carnival from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the school. There will be food, games and prizes. For more information, call 776-8723.

Mall plans Easter egg hunt

The Peninsula Center Mall will hold an Easter egg hunt from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the mall for children preschool age up to 12 years old. There is no charge. For more information, call 260-3084.

Easter egg hunt planned

The American Legion Post No. 18 in Ninilchik is holding an Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. Sunday. The event is free and open to the public. There will be prizes. Call Katherine at (907) 567-3644 for more information or to volunteer.

Church plans Easter performances

The Soldotna Church of God will present "We Have Seen God's Glory," a free drama and musical performance, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Performances will be held at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 4 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, call 252-4418.

Alliance to meet next week

Dave MacDowell, director of government affairs for the BP gas-to-liquid project, will be the featured speaker at a meeting of the Kenai Chapter of The Alliance at noon Tuesday at Paradisos.
