What do I think about Literacy. Well, I think that it's very important to learn things, read things and even teach other people things. When I read I am teaching myself about what I am reading. For example, if I am reading about a plant, then I am teaching myself things about plants.
Now I've learned that any job that I can think of I'll need to be able to read for example, you know that show "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire?" Even Regis has to read all of those questions and answers. But in the meantime just sit and think about it, literacy. Every job contains reading, I think that's so cool.
Now the person that is reading this essay is probably a really smart person, but isn't everybody smart in his or her own way? I don't have to be popular to be smart and I don't even have to be this tall and skinny person like some people picture most smart people.
I think that literacy is very important from the age of 1 until the age of 101 (even though you or I probably won't live to be the ripe old age of 101). Buy a baby starts learning at first born don't they? Even though people are thinking that babies are being so cute with their, goo-goo, gaga, stuff. Buy they are really trying as hard as they can to speak. Then they learn and learn and don't stop learning until they are 101, if they live that long.
Some people don't think that they are learning but they are, they really are. Learning is important, it really is. That concludes my essay. Thank you for taking the time to read it. Maybe you learned something about literacy today.
