Girl Scout leaders need thanks

Posted: Monday, April 17, 2006

Please take the time to celebrate and acknowledge your Girl Scout leaders this week for the opportunities they provide through their support, guidance and leadership. Girl Scout Leader’s Appreciation Day is April 22, the purpose of Leaders Day is to recognize all the women who serve as Girl Scout volunteer leaders. These women act as positive role models and help girls to meet today’s challenges and to become tomorrow’s competent, self-assured women. Girl Scout leaders meaningfully impact the lives of young girls and help change the world. Thanks to all the outstanding volunteer Girl Scouts leaders of the Kenai Peninsula for helping to build courage, confidence and character in the girls of our community.
